Since Ariana Grande’s release of her debut album “Yours Truly” in 2013 and her followup “My Everything” in 2014, Grande has accumulated millions of fans through her powerful vocal chords and striking songs. Grande’s new album ¨Dangerous Woman” which was released May 20, has over 84,3934 sales and is in a tight race for Billboard’s number one album with Drake’s ¨Views.¨

The album is 39 minutes and 31 seconds in length and features artists such as Nicki Minaj, Lil. Wayne, Future and many more. The song can be purchased on the iTunes Store for $12.99 or $1.29 per song.

I’ve never liked Grande since she was on that show “Victorious” and when I heard that she was going to try to become popular through her music I couldn’t bear to think of that idea. However, after having such a strong debut album and showing her true voice potential, Grande has changed me, and “Dangerous Woman” has me hooked.

The best song on the album is “Everyday” featuring Future. The beat is fast, but unlike any other songs it does not give me a headache. Her voice throughout the whole song is softer than her usual tone. The song talks about how she only wants one boy and in this case its Future. Future’s voice in the song is understandable, unlike his other songs where he usually sounds mumbled. Itś a good combination of two totally different voices and this song exemplifies how much she has transitioned into a mature woman.

Another song, “Side to Side” featuring Nicki Minaj, is also one of the stronger songs on the album. The song is about how Grande is so in love that it makes her dance. Compared to “Everyday” this song is more laid back and consistent.

However, even though most of the songs on the album are unique and strong, “Into You” falls short. The song is very plain and the beat is inconsistent throughout the whole song. Grande takes long notes making it hard to understand her lyrics at times.

Despite this, Grande’s overall album showed her strong, unique voice and how she has grown over the years to become the person she is today. I would definitely recommend this album to anyone because it has a perfect mixture of songs.
