The new album by the Weekend, “Starboy,” is full of songs about girls and some of the songs have a low but fast beat to it and others have a upbeat to it. Compared to the album “Beauty Behind the Madness.” In that album a lot more of the songs were played on the radio and were more popular.  Released by Republic Records, the album has 18 tracks. It’s a R&B/soul album and was released November 25, 0216.

The three top songs in the album are “Starboy,” “Party Monster,” and “I Feel It Coming.” “Starboy” is a hard hitting beat song and it’s an emotional outbreak. In the song he is referring himself to a starboy because he is proud of his accomplishments. Some of his accomplishments are that he has received 42 awards and 137 nominations.   

The song “Party Monster” it also has a hard hitting beat. He sings about his sexual moments and things he has done wrong.  

“I Feel It Coming” is a romantic and caring song about loving girls. The song has a loving mood to it. “To give you what you want” is some of the lyrics that shows how it’s about caring and loving girls. In my opinion i think that the album isn’t that good because some of the songs were weird but some of them were also fun and upbeat.
