Students recognize teachers during Teacher Appreciation Day

Students around campus recognize some of their favorite teachers by stating how much they have helped them develop and grow in high school. The first Tuesday of the first full week of May is set aside nationally as Teacher Appreciation Day to honor teachers across the nation for all of their hard work and effort.

“Thank you Mrs. [Elizabeth] Sturgeon for making me a student who actually enjoys English. I’ve never liked it but you have made me realize that it’s not the class, but I’ve never had the right teacher,” Emily Talent said.
