With less than 50 locations, Fashion Q is the new hit store that has just made its way into Rocklin’s main shopping attraction.

Located where the old Charlotte Russe used to be, Q is upstairs near Nordstrom in the Westfield Galleria at Roseville. Upon first walking into the new store, I expected to see another cheap, unorganized, overrated store. I did find a teen-girl clothing store, but it was organized and full of cute, stylish clothes.

They have shirts, dresses, jeans, pants, skirts, shoes, bags, jewelry and everything you could want out of a clothing store. The styles were up-to-date and I found myself picking up every other thing I saw because it looked exactly like the clothes I find online and fall in love with.

While I expected the workers would be inattentive and rude like a lot of the other stores in the mall are, they were actually very friendly and helpful. The checkout lady was excessively sweet, especially when someone knocked down a few bottles of nail polish. To my surprise, she forgave them instantly.

Something else that made the store memorable in my eyes, is that they respected people of all sizes by having a plus size section that filled about a quarter of the store, with clothes just as stylish as all the other clothes in the mall. This made them get more business, with girls of all body types.

The only negative aspects of the store was the smell. It wasn’t too bad but it was noticeable enough to wonder where it came from. One other thing that bothered me, was that I could tell it was in the same store Charlotte Russe was in. They didn’t do anything to the walls to show it was Q and not Charlotte Russe. It made it seem almost unoriginal.

With prices more comparative to Forever 21 and H&M, than to PacSun or Urban Outfitters, Q is a store where more are able to afford the clothes. Their shirts range approximately from $10 to $20, depending on the style you would like.

Everyone should check out this new store, it’s definitely worth a trip.
