Homecoming floats turn into a Wonderland

Clever caterpillars, curious cats, serving soldiers, and a tasty tea party.

Watch this wonderland come to life Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Homecoming parade.

Float building took place the weekend of Oct. 11 to compete at the parade for spirit points. Class floats are built by students with the help of supervising teachers.

Each class float will be judged on its creativity as well as a skit based on a class theme from “Alice in Wonderland.” Freshmen are the caterpillar, sophomores are the Cheshire Cat, juniors are the Red Queen’s subjects, and the seniors host the tea party.

After the parade, the varsity football team takes on Oakmont at 7 p.m.
