Loyalty. Brotherhood. Retaliation. This represents what the motorcycle club is about. “Sons of Anarchy” is a dramatic television series written by Kurt Sutter. It is aired on FX and new episodes are premiered weekly on Thursdays at 10 pm.

Sons of Anarchy, aka SAMCRO, is a motorcycle club that is deeply involved with illegal and legal businesses throughout their fictional town, Charming, CA. They focus on making money off guns and working at a vehicle maintenance garage. The protagonist of the show, Jackson “Jax” Teller (Charlie Hunnam), originally the vice president of the club, discovers a book his dead father wrote. Jax’s father, John “JT” Teller was the former President of Sons of Anarchy. He had written down his ideas and dreams of the club so no one will forget what the purpose of the club was. Before Jax joined the club and Sons of Anarchy was fairly young, JT’s ideas slowly but surely became altered and removed when he allegedly died in a brutal motorcycle accident involving a semi-truck on the highway. Clay Morrow (Ron Pearlman), Jax’s stepdad, took over as President when JT passed away. Clay changed their ways into his own and the members of the club believe they are doing what’s good for the SAMCRO and themselves. Jax’s discovery of his father’s book causes him to  continuously question the club and himself.

The beginning of the show starts off very intense and interesting.SOA contains countless brutal scenes but also possesses heart touching moments throughout the series. The characters of the show become very attachable fairly quickly. Each member has something different you’ll love about them. Although most bikers have the stereotype of being bad, ruthless and rebellious, SAMCRO has it’s good side. The storyline of the show causes you to constantly ask for more by keeping you on your toes. The further you get into in the show, the more you’ll love it. Even the soundtrack throughout the series complements the scenes perfectly and sets the correct mood. “Sons of Anarchy” is a breathtaking show that deserves a 10 out of 10.
