For Scholastic Journalism Week, our staff shares why journalism is important to us
This week, students across the country will celebrate Scholastic Journalism Week as a way to draw attention to student media and boost awareness toward what students learn and do in journalism classes. This annual event is coordinated by the Journalism Education Association and gives students a chance to connect virtually. This year’s hashtag is #SJW2015 on social media will showcase students participating in the theme “Our Staff at Work.”
