We Will Remember You

Texting friends and laughing on Sunday night: the world to everyone seemed right. Until there were messages sent around by text, MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook saying, “Wear black tomorrow in remembrance of Cody Isaacson,” or “R.I.P. Cody, we will miss you.” People who weren’t sure who Cody was would take out their yearbooks and find out. Devastated, people turned on the television to escape the pain or called their friends just to find that the news was broadcasting the horrific event or friends wanted to just talk about it to find out if they knew Cody. Everywhere students tried to turn, they would find the devastating event broadcast.

“It was really emotional. I felt really sad of course but [also] angry and depressed. I kept trying to think it wasn’t true, even though I didn’t know him well it still hurt,” Ashlee Baker said.
There is a memorial fund set up for Cody at the Wells Fargo Bank on Sunset Blvd.
His friends decided to make t-shirts in remembrance of Cody. They sold them throughout campus and all wore them on Tuesday, October 6.
“Cody was always smiling, happy and fun to be around. . . ,” Brittany Kelley said.
