“The Good Place” by NBC is a fun-filled TV-show about what happens when you die. It takes the unknown story to the next level with its amusing comedy setup.

In Season One, newly deceased woman, Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell) wakes up in the afterlife to Michael (Ted Danson), the architect of the neighborhood, where he breaks the news that she has died at such a young age. Michael explains to all of them that they are in “the good place.” That means that their entire life they have been a good human being. Michael has been tallying points from everything they did, from taking out the trash to helping kids in Africa. Eleanor realizes with the help of Janet (D’arcy Carden), she realized that she has been put in the good place by mistake.

“The Good Place” can be found on for free with a membership on Netflix and NBC On-Demand.

With the all the comedy in this tv show it is sure to make you laugh. On the contrary, some of the episodes can be repetitive with the same things. But, with the plot twist at the end, it will sure make you want to continue on to the new Season 2.

So far I have not seen or heard of any other shows that talk about what it’s like to be in the afterlife. I Overall rate this show an A- because I believe that with the plot of this story is strong and entertaining that also the show lacks realistic elements.
