More bling for your cha-ching

Before school starts, every girl is excited and nervous. Whether it’s the jocks, the preps or the nerds we are all worried about classes, impressing that cute guy from homeroom and, of course, our appearance. We girls want to look gorgeous – even beyond gorgeous – on the first day, and every day, to make a good impression. Whether at Target or Nordstrom, everyone is looking for a good price. But money’s tight, so here’s a few ways you can get more for your gravy!

One thing that some people are after are brand names. Girls will pay hundreds of dollars just to have a little moose stitched to the corner of their shirts. Places like Target and Ross don’t get mentioned very much for they’re super expensive and outrageously cute clothing, but if you take the time to dig you could find an amazing pair of jeans for a great buy. If bargain shopping isn’t really your thing, stores like Forever 21 have trendy outfits for insanely awesome prices. If you’re looking for an inexpensive, good fitting, stylish, $4.80 tank top it’s definitely the place to go. Some of the most popular stores are the most expensive, with teen girls gravitating towards pricey stores like Nordstrom and Hollister. Being stylish and trendy doesn’t always have to come with a big price tag, and stores like Forever 21 prove it. Some people are starting to lighten up to  the term “sale”. “I’m not a bargain shopper or a splurger, I’m just a happy medium,” Kylie Borchelt said. While Borchelt perfers places like Nordstrom and PacSun, she says she is warming up to the idea of a half-off item. If we all started wearing our clothes instead of letting the clothes wear us, girl world would be a much happier, much less expensive place.
