I cannot begin to tell you how many times I’ve heard the words “Donald Trump” since June 1, 2015 when he announced he was running for president.

The controversy that follows Trump’s name has started a debate between every American citizen. “Trump’s is too inappropriate,” “Trump is too controversial”, and last but certainly not least,  “Trump cannot be trusted.”

This dispute has left me with the same thought as Trump, “The big problem this country has is being politically correct.”

Being a businessman, Trump has found many advantages during his run for President of the United States.

However, now the frontrunner in almost all states, Trump’s competitors, being desperate for the Republican vote, have decided to search through his past and bring out every piece of information that would make the “Golden Trump” look like the “Liar Trump”.

Now I understand, to win, people are going to do anything and everything they need to, and blackmail isn’t against the rules. But why go out of your way to make someone look so bad, when you could’ve spent your time making yourself look so much better?

Trump right now, has won 13 out of 20 states (65 percent lead) and has 382 delegate votes, making him need only 855 more to set in stone his nomination for the Republican ballot.

I grew up listening to the news and learning to form my values and morals based on a family that is split between political parties.

My dad is a Union worker from the South and my mom is a conservative from Utah so my opinion for politics varies from time to time.

I am not sure of which political party I fall into, but, I do not agree with the way the Republican nominees are treating Trump.

With the ruckus Trump’s competitors started, Trump voters are making it clear nothing can make them side with another candidate, while some voters of other Republican contenders are making their statements saying the ruckus is intolerable between all Republican nominees.

This is America and we the people have been told since the beginning of time, the point of the presidential election is for “the people” to choose who they truly believe should lead our country.

At this moment, the Republican candidates are trying to force down all American voters’ throats the idea that Trump is politically incorrect and not fit to be President of the United States.

I only have one thing to say to all presidential candidates: Let the people decide.
