With the upcoming presidential election the media has zeroed in on one candidate, Donald Trump. The billionaire is running for the Republican presidential primaries and has not surprisingly captured everyone’s attention. The publicity has made Trump the most popular Republican nominee despite his sexist and racist statements.

This is a clear example of America’s lack of education as Trump can make any wild statement such as when he stated that “The U.S. is the highest taxed country in the world” and can get away with it because people are simply ignorant of the facts. Trump supporters who know the facts simply don’t care because they are angry and upset and just want to find a scapegoat that Trump has provided. Another reason that Trump is able to secure the delegates of so many states is because people believe that the government is corrupt and do not believe it is working in their best interest and they want someone they believe is outside of the inner circle in Washington. With all of these factors Trump is able to secure a lead over the other candidates. However this is extremely sad because they are willing to elect anyone, even an egotistical racist that has no experience and has the temperament of a five-year-old.

Trump is the living embodiment of American’s clear frustration with the government and politicians as he is manipulating their emotions. Their are those who may call him worthless and untalented but I believe he is one of the most talented individual at manipulating people. He is able to make the public infuriated and use that anger into hating his rivals and make them believe he will solve the problem. But his manipulation does not stop there as he also uses people’s fears. He makes claims that all Muslims are terrorist when in reality it is a very small and isolated group. But this claim allows him to make the public think that radical Islam is the number one threat to America and he is the man to stop it. When in reality terrorist related deaths of Americans is one of the fewest leading killers. With this unbelievable manipulation Trump is able to secure the front runner of the Republican Primaries. But their are many things that should keep Trump from securing the election.

Trump’s clear lack of even the basic understanding of the U.S. economy should be an immediate disqualifier, and if that wasn’t enough, his obvious racist and blatantly false statements such as the statement that “most of the illegal immigrants from Mexico are the worst of their people” should disqualify him.  He is able to make outrageous promises and accusations such as the wall on the border of Mexico because he speaks louder and his supporters simply don’t care about the facts or are just ignorant to reality. With all these moral disqualifications piling up against Trump it is amazing that in this day and age Trump is able to capture a single vote.

The fact that Trump is leading with 673 delegates as of March 17th is a decrease to the American people as he has acted childish throughout the entire primaries. His selfish and childish ways are not complimented by his racist ideals. This makes Trump an unbelievable candidate as there is so many things that should make him invalid as a candidate even for the Republican party.        Although many say he will become the next president this is false because he is leading among racist and the uneducated who do not make up the bulk of America. If Trump is able to secure the primaries he will surely be beat by the democratic candidate. The Republican party might be made up of some racist and uneducated people the majority of them are sane and reasonable people and would be willing to vote for the democratic candidate. In the end Trump will not become president and will only be a faded memory of a failed campaign that never truly had a chance.
