No, this is not an April Fool’s joke. On April 1 Guns N’ Roses emerged with original members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan at West Hollywood’s Troubadour for the first time together since 1993.

The Troubadour show welcomed approximately 500 guests including a star studded balcony including celebrities such as Lenny Kravitz, Chris Brown, Jim Carrey and Nicolas Cage.

Although Rose has been touring with other band members under the Guns N’ Roses name, no other original members had taken any part in touring with the band until now.

The ongoing tour has been labeled as the “Not In This Lifetime” Tour based off a quote from Rose in 2012 regarding a possible reunion of the original Guns N’ Roses.

The “Not in This Lifetime” Tour will span over two months and include 20 cities across North America such as San Francisco, New Orleans and Washington D.C. The tour officially began on April 8 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena and will officially end Aug. 22 at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium.

The band will also be performing at Indio, California’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 16 and 23.

Despite already having Rose, Slash and McKagan, there has been speculation of original drummer Steven Adler joining the tour.

Rumors began to swirl when Adler’s current band Adler cancelled a show at West Hollywood’s Whiskey a Go Go on April 1. This was seen as Adler’s attempt to join the tour.

However other rumors have stated that the reason behind the cancellation of the show is Adler’s back injury and followed surgery.

Due to the conflicting speculations, nothing can be said for certain until a statement is released from Adler.

The band’s website is currently offering Nightrain memberships which offer access to concert ticket presales as well as other benefits including exclusive t-shirts and lanyards.

As for right now, nothing can be said for sure. With Rose’s history of unpredictability and the rumors circulating Adler’s participation one would have to wait and see how the tour unfolds.
