Whitney High Student Media students attend fall national journalism convention
#NHSJC2016 Indianapolis, Indiana
For four days, 3,750 journalism students gathered at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana for the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention to take classes, listen to keynote speakers, compete in Write-Off contests, and have their publications entered into the Best of Show competition.
Details yearbook placed second in the Best of Show competition, and in individual Write-off contests, six Whitney High Student Media students placed, including Superior medals for Hanan Begic, Connor O’Brien and Deanna Payan.
