Seven pictures from the Women’s March in Sacramento

Women, men and children of all ages marched in support of women’s rights and the equality of all people Jan. 20. The march started at Southside Park and ended at the Capitol Building in Sacramento. An estimated 36,000 attended, and countless signs were held as people marched in unison. Outside of the Capitol Building, speeches were given by many including Sacramento City Council member Angelique Ashby, as the crowds gathered together. These seven photographs captured an emotion and a stance on the world of today.
