Paint Day kicks off unofficial start to senior year
Returning to campus from 8-12, schedule pick-up week begins with seniors, Aug 6. As seniors arrived, they collected stamps for clearing fines before taking their final student I.D. picture and making changes to their schedule. Following schedule pick-up, select seniors painted their parking spots at Senior Paint Day from 1-5 p.m. Approximately 120 spots were available for purchase through a lottery system.
“I knew I wanted to do a beach, but it took me… probably an hour or two hours, to figure out exactly what I wanted to do… [I ended up changing it because] I wanted to make it special to me and important to me. I just know that I’m going to see it this whole year so I wanted to make it really good and put a lot of thought into it,” Samantha Baker said.
