The Band Perry’s new album Pioneer leaves fans disappointed

The Band Perry’s sophomore album Pioneer was released on April 2 and didn’t live up to the expectations of country fans around the world.

The famous sibling Trio, The Band Perry, stakes its claim in an unusual combination where traditional and contemporary country intersect with classic rock.

With twelve tracks and a running time of 46:15 minutes, the album dragged on and didn’t live up to the expectations of country fans around the world.

The album drags out and leaves annoying tunes stuck in your head such as “Forever Never Mine” and “Night Gone Wasted.”

Their last hit “If I die Young” really established their fan base and is partly the reason of their new rave of their album. Songs like “Better Dig Two” and “Done” are catchy the first time you hear them, but with the radio playing these songs repetitively, it makes it difficult to listen to them more than one time.

Her other hit “Mother like Mine” brings out the sensitive and soft side, a perfect song for Mother’s Day soon approaching after the album was released.

This album brings out the rock drive and country sass of these country stars, but doesn’t stick to their usual calmer side and leaves fans surprised.

The Band Perry has never represented what the new age of country is all about. This album doesn’t sound authentic and comes off as too whiny.

Despite the criticism, they came out of their shell and tried something new, but their effort wasn’t worth it. Hopefully next album, the group will release their greater strengths and do what they do best.
