Brooklyn Nine-Nine is hilarious, full of talented cast

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a comedy series that combines a cop drama with a fun, playful atmosphere full of several hilarious childish antics from TV shows like Everybody Hates Chris and Malcolm in the Middle. The TV series follows the 99th precinct, a police station that covers a certain county or city, in Brooklyn, New York, where the precinct receives a new captain that is much more strict than the previous command.
The show merges the settings of CSI:NY and The Office creating a hilarious sitcom-esque show, while still maintaining it’s touching moments reflecting on the various backgrounds of the cops in the precinct. The show has a little something for everyone, with some harmless comedy for the kids and some crude humor for teens and adults.
The cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is full of several talented and hilarious, my personal favorite being Joe Lo Truglio, who plays Charles Boyle, the sidekick of the precinct and a certified people pleaser that adds an important element of innocence that gives the show a pair of legs to stand on. Further structuring the show, Andre Braugher, who is playing Captain Holt provides a sense structure that is firm and unwavering which is occasionally open to the antics of Jake Peralta. Jake Peralta himself is played marvelously by Andy Samberg, member of the comedy band Lonely Island, who sticks to his roots in comedy and gives the show life as its prime source of humor. Then, Peralta’s “rival” Detective Amy Santiago, played by Melissa Fumero, adds a foil for Detective Peralta but can get pesky and detract from the overall story with her kiss-up attitude towards the captain. Although Santiago is a pesky character, she is portrayed well by Fumero.
Overall, I would recommend this show to anyone who loves comedy sitcoms or is looking to get into them.

![On the stage, Daniel Bozinovski and Rachel Treto play their part as Tom and Hannah in the show “The Cast List”. The show was about a group of students who were told about their cast list for the play “Romeo and Juliet.” The Theater I students were in preparation for their first showcase of the year. Students went over their lines during all of their class for the past two months. “[We put in] a lot of rehearsal, practicing lines, making sure you have everything memorized and making sure you are ready to go in and not forget anything,” Nathan Weeks said.
