In the corner of Stone Point Plaza, a gem is hidden from the normal eye but explodes with flavor when you get in. I am talking about Trademark Pizza Company. This pick-your-own pizza restaurant offers any kind of pizza you want, with plenty of satisfying ingredients.

When you walk into the establishment, you instantly smell an aroma of different ingredients that are used in building  your custom pizza. The sides of the restaurant have an industrial feel, with some words that describe the restaurant’s food across the back wall.

As you go up to order, you have the choice of an 11-inch pizza or a custom salad with whatever you want on it. Whichever one you choose, you get to pick toppings on the Speed Line, a buffet- like table where you pick the ingredients to go on your meal. This gives an interesting spin to the meal because you get to be in control of what you want on your plate, so you can always like it and can control the quantity of whatever ingredients they desire.

When you get your customized order from the extremely friendly employees for the incredible price of $7.99 is when the fun really starts. I taste the fresh cheese and sauces while the meats and vegetables make the pizza more delicious.

Trademark Pizza Company reminds me of a restaurant named Chicago Fire Pizza. The overall feel, taste, service and cost value felt similar. They both serve thin crust pizza. Trademark is different by having a customizable combinations instead of a set menu to choose from.

With all of these good things about Trademark, there are always some negatives. The pizza came out greasy, which made it messy for me to eat without needing 1,000 napkins to clean myself up. When I was  finished with my meal, I had to take my plate and go all the way across the dining area to throw away my scraps. This creates a hassle, since I was stuffed from eating the filling meal and then I had to get up and walk just to get the table clean. Isn’t it the employee’s job to clean up after the customer leaves?

I recommend going to this restaurant whether it is for a date, hanging out with friends, or having a family get-together. The ambiance, price, abundance of seating and access to televisions, free wifi, and food make going to this restaurant a great experience and worth the drive to find out what kind of pizza people can create.
