The first edition of “Star Wars Battlefront” was highly praised at the beginning of its release and was one of the most hyped video games of all time. However, weeks after release, players began to realize that the game lacked a lot of content. The game did not include content such as maps, weapons, character customization, game modes or even a single player campaign. On top of that, in order to gain additional content, players had to pay for four additional DLC map packs that were around $20 each. Even though the game play was indeed high quality and the graphic, sounds and effects were amazing, it still lacked what all of the fans wanted. Content.

This is why Star Wars Battlefront 2 is considered to be on a small thread because if they fail to make the sequel this would take EA in a very negative direction. This game however is definitely not going to disappoint, simply proven by the few trailers and information for the game.

Not much is known about the game, but at the same time there is a lot to say about what will be in production for it. To start off, the game will have a single player campaign taking place after the battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi. Players serve as an elite special force Imperial Storm Trooper whose mission is to seek out and destroy the rest of the rebellion after the tragic loss of the second Death Star. Not much is known about what happens in the campaign, but judging by the clips and the information available players are grateful to finally have another canon Star Wars story that’s playable.

The next and most exciting part of the game is the multiplayer content. A lot was leaked about what is going to be provided in interviews with the developers and this will be one of the best multiplayer experiences anyone could ever dive into. The multiplayer will contain all three eras of Star Wars. Which includes the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War and the Force Awakens era from Episode VII. This alone was very exciting for Star Wars fans to hear because we will finally be able to get a multiplayer Clone Wars experience with high quality effects and graphics. The next idea they will have will be similar to what Battlefield currently has — classes. There will be four classes players will be able to play as and they are currently not labeled.

Customization is also going to be a major factor for the game unlock the previous Battlefront. You will now be able to customize and make your character unique in the certain class, and their will also be a multitude of weapons that you can customize and add attachments to.

The next and most important piece of information is that there will be no DLC or map packs in the game. The base game will contain more content than the first game had including all of the DLC, and their will be free updates that will provide additional content for the game. This is super surprising to players because EA is known for having additional content provided for a price, and they said they wanted to completely change their ways for this current game and possibly others for the feature. Not to mention as well, the games graphics and effects will also be improved. Which is hard to believe because the previous game is already beautiful enough as it is.

There is a little amount of information for the game, however the game will have a remarkably high amount of improvement and players will finally get the Star Wars Battlefront that they have always wanted.
