DIY graduation party decorations
The 2015 graduation ceremony is June 4 at the football stadium starting at 7 p.m., but the following days are booked with graduation parties. Seniors can make their graduation party unique by following this quick DIY.
Graduation Cap Straw Toppers
Supplies:
- Black construction paper
- Hole puncher
- Embroidery string
- Straws
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
Step 1:
Cut a square out of the construction paper and punch a hole through the center.
Step 2:
Cut a long rectangular strip out of the paper, form it into the shape of a cylinder, and glue it to the square.
Step 3:
Slip a straw through the hole punch and hot glue the two together.
Step 4:
Tie a piece of the embroidery string at the top as the tassel.
