Fortenberry, Kumpf, and Millington play trumpet in the jazz band. The jazz band received an average score of 90 out of 100 from the judges and finished in second place among others in their category. Fortenberry said, “[We had] been practicing [the songs] for a few months; I practiced at home and at school. I was tired from the night before [our performance] but I was pumped to play.”
